The Church also knows that the constant and continuing
Faith of the
Church is not all written down and that our Faith is
developmental--that is,
the longer men and women of faith deliberate on the
scriptures and
in prayer, seek the Holy Spirit, the more Divine
Revelation is clarified.
John 16:12-13
I
have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But
when
he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth.
Faith
is developmental--
not
all truths revealed during Christ’s lifetime
were
written down
John 21:25
There
are also many other things that Jesus did, but
if these
were
to be described individually, I do not think the whole world
would contain the books that
would be written.
